What is a Community Champion?

A Community Champion is a volunteer opportunity at UP & Working.

As a Community Champion you could help people get back into work, training and enable them to achieve their full potential. You will be working within the heart of the community giving people advice and support, with full encouragement from UP & Working. We can work together to help people identify barriers to employment they may be facing.

As this is a voluntary role, the number of hours a week you work is entirely up to you and all expenses would be paid for.

Becoming a Community Champion could lead to a successful progression for your own career and help with accessing further job opportunities.
